Double Barrel Rum - Limited Edition

This rum is a blend of a small 20L Seppeltsfield Tawny barrel and a 200L Ex-Whippersnapper corn whiskey barrel, which lost an incredible 38% to angel's share, resulting in a final ABV of 78.54%. The tawny barrel adds a touch of fruit and complexity to this outstanding rum. It was named Champion Rum at the 2024 Royal Australian Spirit Awards. Only 311 bottles are available.

• Nose: Minty, Pineapple, Gingerbread and citrus
• Palate: Leading with Copper and dried Apricots mid-palate, following through with Tobacco & Mocha
• Mouthfeel: Syrupy and slightly astringent.
• Method: Double Pot Distilled
• Yeast: Wild Muck & Ale Yeast
• Maturation: Tawny 3yrs 10 months Ex Whiskey 3 yrs 3 months.
• Barrel: American Oak & Ex Australian Corn Whiskey
• Zero additives except reverse osmosis water to break back to bottle strength.
